Resistance temperature sensors are suited for applications where accuracy and stability are essential for proper control in applications that operate at or below 1200°F (650C). RTDs, available in a variety of styles and constructions, are specially designed to ensure precise and repeatable temperature measurement for a wide variety of applications. Thermistors are ideal for applications where fast time response and high change in resistance over a limited temperature range is required. Maximum operating temperature on Watlow thermistors is 572°F
We offer a full line of thermowells, protecting tubes, connectors, connection heads, terminal blocks and transmitters. All of these accessories complement Watlow’s full-line of sensors and complete your thermal sensing requirements.
Used for connecting a sensor to an instrument or controller. Insulation temperature ranges from -328 to 2350°F (-200 to 1290°C).
Metal-sheathed cable make it ideally suited to solve a wide variety of problem applications. They can be easily formed or bent to accommodate many configurations. Diameters range from 0.010 to 0.5 in. (0.25 to 12.7 mm).
Thermocouples are best suited for high temperatures, extreme environments or applications requiring microscopic size sensors. These fiberglass insulated thermocouples are capable of temperatures up to 900°F (480°C) for continuous operation. Watlow provides grounded, ungrounded and exposed junctions on millions of manufactured thermocouples.
